The award-winning article: "What diabetes can do for you"

A wonderful article entitled "What diabetes can do for you" was recently published in the Shape magazine, a South African health & fitness magazine.  It was no surprise that this article impressed an international panel of judges and took the honors of global Novo Nordisk Media Prize 2005! Congratulations to the author, 26 year old South African, Justine Victoria Joseph! more

Justine told Novo Nordisk that 'There has been a big reaction to the article, surprisingly, because it is so specific. I received a letter from a woman in Namibia who had just been diagnosed with diabetes, and found the information invaluable because there is no support group in her country.  Also, a chain of pharmacies in South Africa has requested to use the article to train pharmacists about the positive side of living with diabetes. more
